Encompassing 570,000 acres, the Horse Heaven Hills AVA stretches along side the Columbia River in South Central Washington. The combination of up-river and sun-drenched canopies imparts full fruit flavors and fine, smooth tannins on the resulting wines.
Dark berry notes and hints of blackberry blossom on the nose lead to rich, bold flavors of cherry pie and raspberry jam on the palate.
This Columbia Valley Malbec exhibits silky tannins on the finish, accented by toasted almonds, vanilla bean and a touch of white pepper spice.
